Industrial Maintenance Mechanics – 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Responsible for maintaining the operation of production machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all production equipment, including all fabrication equipment (mechanical and hydraulic), conveyor systems, welding machines, e-coating and powder coating systems.

Essential Functions

  • Able to read and comprehend diagrams, prints, sketches, operations manuals and engineering specifications
  • Responsible for observing and troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Able to install machinery/equipment; repair wiring, electronic and electrical components, plumbing, piping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiar with scissor lift tables
  • Able to weld (MIG, stick, flux core) as well as fit and cut metals/aluminum
  • Provide emergency unscheduled repairs which may require overtime, some weekends and holidays
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards in all work that is performed (Lock Out Tag Out etc.)
  • Repair equipment and systems by interfacing with the operator / supervisor to determine the problem and resolving it using OEM procedures
  • Other duties as assigned such as cleaning, driving, metal scrap, snow removal, special projects, related administrative duties and other duties assigned


  • 5 years of electrical and/or mechanic/technician related experience
  • Must have a valid PA drivers license
  • Knowledge of PLC’s and CNC controls preferred. Amada, Cincinnati and Bystronic knowledge a plus
  • Ability to accurately read all types of measuring devices
  • Plumbing familiarity using copper and PVC piping
  • Must be able to successfully pass the standard written and riding forklift test
  • Ability to work off ladders, scissor lifts and boom lifts at elevated heights

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, talk, hear, reach with hands/or arms, walk up and down stairs, climb a ladder, and demonstrate strong dexterity, handling, and feeling
  • Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, talking, hearing, and reaching with ands/or arms
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cold temperature changes and strong noise and vibration levels
  • Work occurs in a manufacturing floor environment
